The Importance of Drinking Water

Our bodies need anywhere from 2 to 2.5 litres of fluid per day either in the form of water or other types of hydration such as fruit and vegetables. It is important not to become dehydrated, even to a minor degree.
Water plays an important role in how well our body functions: it is vital to blood, digestion, cellular activity, body temperature regulation, skin elasticity and mucous, as well as to the elimination of waste products.
It is vitally important to drink small quantities of water frequently during the day, even if we are not thirsty.
